This weekend is the weekend that I've been waiting for. Ever since I was in high school, the french classes celebrated Fat Tuesday and everyone would walk the halls with their beads. I didn't know the story behind the celebration of Mardi Gras and to be honest I still dont have a clue. Now that I'm closer to where the main celebration occur, I'm becoming even more anxious not only to learn about Mardi Gras, but also to take part in all of the festivities that places like New Orleans and The Gulf have to offer.
I've heard a lot of things about the night time festivities that happen in New Orleans. From the famous Bourbon Street to the beads, I know Mardi Gras will be an experience that i will never forget...I can't wait
